11 more House races shift towards Dems: John King reacts

The Cook Political Report released new ratings that shift 11 House races towards Democratic candidates, mostly in districts that Trump won by double digits in 2024. The update came just one week after Cook adjusted 18 House contests in favor of Democrats and predicted the party could pick up nine to 19 seats in the midterm elections.

The Cook Political Report editor Erin Covey explains the new ratings and CNN chief national correspondent John King and CNN political director David Chalian share their reactions to the new list and Elon Musk’s campaign spending. Also, CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten and a panel of political pundits break down the political state of play as the midterm campaigns enter the final weeks.
