3 major storms pound Northeast, Hawaii & Mexico

A strong, early season nor’easter is delivering a prolonged stretch of wind and soaking rain to the Northeast, with conditions expected to worsen.

Meanwhile, heavy rain from Hurricane Nolo is ramping up in southern Hawaii, the islands’ third dangerous brush with a hurricane in just six weeks. Also, Hurricane Polo is battering Mexico and is expected to make landfall Monday on Baja California Sur.
