Nepal floods: Power plant worker describes 300m wall of water cascading down valley

Survivors have told Sky News of the terrifying scenes they witnessed as the catastrophic floods in Nepal unfolded.

One woman said she saw 3,000 people being swept away, while a power plant worker said he saw a 300m wall of water barrelling down the mountain valley, washing away anyone in its path.

Nearly 2,000 people are confirmed missing and more than 500 dead after a suspected glacier collapse sent a tsunami of water down a valley on the Nepal-Tibet border.
