UN delegates walk out as Israel’s Netanyahu prepares to address general assembly

Netanyahu’s appearance at the UN Headquarters in New York City comes after the city’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani, called him a war criminal.

Meanwhile, anti-Israel protesters have taken to New York’s streets. Several hundred anti-Israel protesters gathered near the UN’s HQ in Manhattan on Thursday with ​dozens blocking traffic and chanting: “Stop arming Israel, let Gaza live” and “Stop arming Israel, let Iran live.”
