US Midterms 2026: Foreign policy hits home | This Is America

Foreign policy is becoming an increasingly important issue in the 2026 US midterm elections as the Iran war, tariffs and US support for Israel affect voters at home. Rising fuel and food prices are putting pressure on the Trump administration, while candidates in key races debate the domestic impact of foreign policy decisions. The programme examines whether these issues could influence voters and shape the battle for control of Congress.

Presented by Anna Burns-Francis.

Guests:
David Bolger, Democratic strategist and national security consultant.

Patrick Mara, Chairman of the DC Republican Party.
